Supermacro: Leaf

Surface of a Leaf - Twin Falls, Idaho - 2010

Drops on a Leaf - Twin Falls, Idaho - 2010

Inspired by my last pictures, I decided to see how close I could get to a leaf using my new Canon EF-S 55-250mm f/4.0-5.6 IS telephoto lens and our trusty Raynox DCR-250 supermacro conversion lens. The answer? Pretty dang close!

The Canon EF-S 55-250mm f/4.0-5.6 IS is a pretty good lens, by the way. I know there are better, more expensive lenses out there, but for my tight budget, this one works great! I highly recommend it for "frugal photographers", such as myself.
