I'm desperately trying to get into Christmas Mode. It's not really going so well, considering we JUST finished with Thanksgiving, I fear for our Christmas tree because of the newly-crawling baby, and Christmas music brings back morning sickness flashbacks. So, for now, my Christmas spirit is just a small glow.

ReplyDeleteNo need to beat yourself up because you aren't ready to get to the tinsel yet. It will come. You might consider getting a smaller tree and putting it up on a table or something, out of reach of your upwardly-mobile, curious George. Either that, or put unbreakables at the bottom of the tree.
We aren't quite ready to get out the red and green stuff yet either, but I think as we continue to hear the messages of Advent, as well as Bear's messages in John, we will come around.
