Joelle + Nathaniel

I had the absolute honor and privilege to shoot my brother-in-law, Nathaniel's, wedding last weekend. If you recall, I also had the privilege of shooting his senior session, too. Wonder if I'll get to photograph his future kids? ;-)

I was SO nervous to do this wedding, but I felt more prepared gear-wise this time than any of my prior weddings. But it's family. It's almost more pressure to preform and please than with complete strangers! I just wanted to do right by them and make sure I captured their special day to the best of my ability. I have to say, I felt rather "legit" with two cameras hanging off of me this time. It would have been a lot more stressful and frustrating if I didn't, so I'm really glad I went ahead and bought the 70D. Saved me having to constantly switch lenses and I would have completely missed the groom and groomsmen getting ready (huge thanks to Matt, who pulled double-duty by shooting and serving as a groomsman during the wedding).

Everything went rather smoothly and as far as I can tell, fun was had by all. I'm so thrilled to be gaining another sister and I pray that their marriage, which started righteously, will continue to grow in the Lord. They are so perfect for each other and I just love them both to pieces! Congratulations, Nate and Joelle!

Oh, and the baby chicks? A prank gift from the groomsmen to the bridesmaids. Hilarious.
