As I said in Baby Nolan's post, we had to split the Walker's session into two due to sickness. In hindsight, I'm really glad we did end up doing two instead of one session...because it would have been a lot more stressful than it needed to be!
For this session, I had the challenge of an 8-week-old, a 2-year-old, and a 4-year-old. Thankfully, the baby's were already done, but I still had to get the other two. I quickly realized they were not going to be the type that you sit and pose. Nope. Little Miss was way too busy for that! So, I changed tactics and just let them explore, capturing candid shots rather than posed. If you've followed me for any amount of time, you know that's the method I prefer anyways. Personalities shine through more and it's more enjoyable and less stressful all around. So, we looked at a bug on a tree, looked for fish and frogs in the creek, and played peek-a-boo around a tree. Yes, we were constantly rounding up littles. But I really think they had a good time and I was able to get some precious shots. Very sweet family and I'm grateful they allowed me to hang out with them on a gorgeous Saturday morning at Rock Creek Park. If you'd like to see more, go here.
Little Miss. Spunky, but adorable. We had a good time together.
This handsome gent is my bud, now. He kept stealing my froggy puppet and nibbling on me with it as I was trying to catch his sister.
Great group of kiddos! Matt and I just loved playing with them and I got to hold baby boy, who has grown quite a bit since I last saw him. Pretty special.
